World Kindness: PASS IT ON‏

Please help us PASS IT ON! Sport a Yellow Umbrella for World Kindness on NOVEMBER 2. More info at

The World Kindness Concert is in its 12th year and raises money for anti-bullying programs in schools across BC.

Leading up to the event is a kick-off campaign called PASS IT ON happening on Friday November 2nd at 11:30 am – 12:00 pm at the Robson Street steps of the Vancouver Art Gallery. At this event, 50 yellow umbrellas will be passed out to attendees. Come out and support us by sporting an umbrella.

The umbrellas will be opened in sync by the crowd in a dramatic wave of yellow. Afterwards you’ll be encouraged to share your umbrella by passing it on to someone else. And while in action, take a photo and post it via the World Kindness Concert Facebook and Twitter (@kindnessconcert) pages. From November 2 – November 13, participants can also share their photos with random acts of kindness online to win 2 free tickets to the World Kindness Concert.

The umbrellas represent shelter from the rain which is at the core of what the World Kindness Concert sets out to do by providing students with the tools to prevent bullying.

We’d love to see as many people there to help us support this great cause!

Come out and participate on Friday, November 2 11:45 am at the Vancouver Art Gallery.
