Working 2.0 – Canaccord Learning Commons

Working 2.0: Improving productivity in the workplace, October 21st 2010 hosted by the Canaccord Learning Commons

The Canaccord Learning Commons is the cross-section of a physical space in the David Lam Library and an online learning environment that will enhance student learning. The content and activities will be defined by a combination of in person interactions and online resources and exchanges.

As part of the soft-launch of the online environment we are creating the first Canaccord Learning Commons Conversation on the theme of increasing productivity in the workplace. We will have an online discussion from October 11th to the 20th and will cap it off with speakers Bill Jensen and Josh Klein exploring the repercussions of their findings on improving workplace productivity in their new book, Hacking Work. RSVP to the event. If you need something to pass the time, here is Josh Klein @TED speaking about hacking crows.

If you’d like to write a blog post for our online discussion, send an email to Alex Monegro at alex.monegro@sauder.ubc.ca, if not, make sure to check out the Canaccord Learning Commons page for the conversation!
