UBC Meal Exchange would like to invite you to take part in the annual Trick or Eat Campaign, Canada’s largest youth-led food drive!
This year, it will happen on the day of Halloween, Wednesday, October 31st, from about 5PM – 8PM. Organized groups of costumed participants will take to the streets in Vancouver to collect donations of non-perishable food items.
Last year, many student groups and organizations on campus participated. More than 400 students and volunteers were involved, and over 2,400 pounds of food were collected, worth over $4,800! The food and monetary donations were given directly to the UBC AMS Food Bank and Greater Vancouver Food Bank.
This is a great way to have some fun on Halloween while doing charity work to your support for UBC and its surrounding communities. Whether you are signing up as an individual or as a team, we’d absolutely love it if you’d join us this year.
