Manitoba International Marketing Competition (MIMC)

The Manitoba International Marketing Competition ( offers students a unique, three-in-one experience involving management simulation, boardroom presentation, and case competition. You will be challenged to exercise your analytical, decision making, and leadership skills during the simulation round, where you will be in charge of a company in a perfectly competitive industry. Emphasis will be placed on your ability to translate theoretical knowledge into practical success. At the end of the eight-week simulation, you will give a detailed presentation of the company operational performance. The best teams will move on to the final round to compete in a case competition, for the grand prize of $4000. Ability to analyze financial statements and market data

Public speaking and team communication skills

Prior case competition experiences a plus

Ability to travel between January 8th and January 11th


Students from all disciplines are welcomed. Students with cross-disciplinary backgrounds in third and fourth years, with goals to pursue brand management, investment banking, or management consulting are highly encourage to apply.
