The HKCBA would like to invite you to be a volunteer at our upcoming 2011 “Hong Kong Connection” Annual Spring Dinner that will be held on Thursday, March 17, 2011 and we would truly appreciate your kind assistance. Each year this dinner attracts about 650 guests and is being recognized as one of Vancouver’s most successful & premier business networking functions. It is a great opportunity for volunteers to make friends and gain valuable business contacts in the local community.
Date: Thursday, March 17, 2011
Meeting Location: 3rd Floor Prince of Wales Room, Hyatt Regency Hotel, Downtown Vancouver
Time required: Full Day Availability Preferred (11:30am to 10:00pm)
Main Tasks (detailed description of tasks will be provided on event day):
11:30 –4:30 pm: Set up and decorate the venue, organize prizes
5:00 – 7:00 pm: Register, receive and greet guests, escort VIP guests, direct traffic
7:00 – 9:30 pm: During the Dinner, help out with the Prize Tables
9:30 – 10:00 pm: Clean up and help pack left-over materials
Benefits: Work Meals will be provided during the event day (both lunch and dinner). All volunteers will also be
invited to an Appreciation Dinner with HKCBA Board of Directors in April (another great networking event!).
