Grad Night 2013-14 is HIRING

Apply to become a Grad Night 2013-2014 Executive Member to make the last event of the Sauder calendar an unforgettable experience for the Graduating class of 2014!!!

 

I am looking for applicants who are naturally motivated, organized, reliable, and energetic individuals. Experience in event planning is an asset but is not required. This is your chance to contribute to the Sauder community and ensure the 2013-2014 school year ends with a BANG.

Positions Available:

 

Vice Chair – Responsible for securing and managing sponsorships, securing night venue, and assisting the Chair with decoration and entertainment planning. Must be:

–       Personable

–       Highly motivated and organized

–       Willing to learn/step up to the task at hand

VP Marketing – Responsible for all marketing strategies of Grad Night through postering, emails, social media, CUS/UGO channels, and will be in charge of target ticket sales for the event. Must be:

–       Proactive in planning, promoting and managing event/ticket sales

–       Able to work well with others

–       Creative

 

 

VP Finance – Responsible for keeping track of Grad Night budget, expenses, and revenues. Must be:

–       Able to work well with others

–       Be organized

–       Able to assist Head of Volunteer, other VP’s or Grad Chair in miscellaneous tasks day of event

 

Head of Volunteers – Responsible for understanding series of events within Grad Night event in order to train, allocate, and manage a team of approx. 8 event volunteers to ensure smooth running of event. Must be:

–       Able to communicate effectively

–       Confident in managerial/task-management skills

–       Able to assist other VP’s and Chair in miscellaneous tasks before/on day of event
