Frosh 2011 is hiring: executive team and leaders!

Sauder Frosh has developed a reputation for being UBC’s largest and most outrageous orientation weekend. We are looking for committed and responsible leaders and executives who love Frosh and want to make it the most memorable weekend incoming students will ever experience!

***You may apply for both executive and leader but will only be hired for one

Frosh Executive:

* Vice-chairperson

Duties – lead micro sponsorship, organize leader orientation retreat (Sep 1-2) and coordinate presentations/speaker sessions, take on chair duties (Aug 15-30)

Qualifications – familiar with Frosh, extremely organized, experience in leading a team, strong communication skills with external organizations, self-motivated

* VP Logistics

Duties – coordinate weekend schedule, bus schedule, hotel room allocation, delegate bags, food catering

Qualifications – extremely organized (emails, spreadsheets, lists etc), strong communication skills with external organizations, fine attention to detail, able to work in a team environment

* VP Liaison

Duties – communicate with Frosh Leaders and Froshees, froshee registration, coordinate volunteers, coordinate name tags, organize teams

Qualifications – extremely organized (emails, spreadsheets, lists etc), email etiquette that conveys information clearly while demonstrating the fun and friendly Sauder spirit, self-motivated, fine attention to detail

* VP Day Events x 2

Duties – secure venue(s)/book rooms, organize day event activities and schedules, coordinate event supplies, train volunteers, negotiate outdoor permits,

Qualifications – extremely organized, fun and creative ideas, experience in leading a team, fine attention to detail, access to a car

* VP Night Events

Duties – secure venue(s), organize night event themes and schedules, train volunteers, hire security, liquor license, hire DJs

Qualifications – extremely organized, professional, australian online casinos responsible, knows what a good party looks like, strong communication skills with external organizations

* VP Marketing

Duties – brand Frosh, design website, design t-shirts, promotions and marketing material, assist with presentation media, coordinate visual media volunteers

Qualifications – experience in website design and building, experience in graphic design, creative, able to work in a team

Frosh leaders are crucial to the frosh weekend and the froshee’s first connection to their Sauder experience. If you are interested in mentoring a group of incoming students and introducing them to the Frosh Family then fill out the application form below.
