The National Mining Competition is a business strategy case competition based on the mining industry. It will take place at the Edwards School of Business at the University of Saskatchewan on Nov. 2nd – 5th. Because of casino pa natet the nature of this case, the competition is open to teams of three business, geology and/or engineering undergraduate students. The resolution period for the case is 36 hours, and includes two challenges throughout. The first is Information Mining, which is an opportunity to “speed date” with industry professionals to gain information that could help teams with the case. The second will be a surprise, and will count towards each team”s overall score.
The cost for this competition is $250 per delegate, or $750 for a team of three. This price includes accommodations, transportation around Saskatoon for the weekend, and most meals.
