Effective immediately, the current Associate Vice-President Finance, Jason Van, has officially resigned from his position on the CUS Service Council. Jason has shown great dedication and assisted his portfolio during his term with the CUS. However, due to unforeseen academic and personal circumstances, Jason will be unable to sustain his current level of commitment to the CUS. Nonetheless, we are very appreciative of Jason’s efforts and wish him the best in his personal and career endeavours.
The following is Jason’s public statement regarding his time in the CUS.
Dear CUS Executives and Members,
I am writing to inform you of my resignation from my role as AVP Finance. While I have enjoyed my time in the CUS, I have decided to invest my time in other areas of my academic and person life.
It has been a privilege working alongside such talented, driven, and hardworking individuals. I value everything the organization has done for me, and appreciate all of the incredible people I have met.
As we move into the latter half of the year, I am eager to see what the CUS has the offer and will continue to strongly advocate for all of the clubs and services within the CUS.
Thanks again for the opportunity and I wish you all the best in the remainder of your term.
