First-Year Election is This Week!

Hey, first-years!  Every February, the CUS (all BCom students of Sauder) elects a Board of Directors to represent them for the next year.  The only positions that are not elected at that time are the two First-Year Representative positions.  Since none of the future first-years are enrolled at that time, the First-Year Representatives are elected annually in the following October.

Sixteen students are running this year and it is your job as a first-year to vote for the two whom you believe will best-represent you at board meetings and to fellow students over the next several months.  With so many candidates, it is usually just a few votes that separate the person with the most votes online casinos from the person with the next most and so on, so your vote matters much more than in, say, a federal election.

Make sure that you come to the All-Candidates Forum on Tuesday, October 2 in HA 492 from 5:00 to 6:30 to meet them in person, listen to what they have to say and ask them questions!  After the forum, voting will be open through Thursday, October 4 through Vista.  Email if you have any questions.
