Are you looking for a chance to volunteer abroad? Are you interested in learning about the effect of HIV/AIDS, first-hand? Do you want to put your passion into action?
AIESEC is the world”s largest student-run organization, with local chapters in more than 107 countries. With more than 50 years experience of running our Global Internship Program, AIESEC at UBC is currently recruiting for students and recent grads who are passionate about the issue of HIV/AIDS for our newest exchange initiative: Project Genesis – a project with the focus of creating an AIDS -educated society which knows the causes, effects, and trauma associated with the disease.
Past interns have worked in the following aspects of living with HIV/AIDS:
– AIDS prevention & education in high schools and with youths
– working with children orphaned by AIDS or living with AIDS
– corporate and community engagement in HIV/AIDS awareness

Anyone who is interested in starting their volunteer experience abroad as early as January 2010 is strongly encouraged to attend one of the following informational sessions:
– Oct 23rd (Friday), 1-2pm
– Oct 28th (Wednesday), 4:30pm-5:30pm
