Proposed Changes to the CUS Code of Procedure, Article 4.06, Section (C), Subsection (I)

The CUS would like to announce a proposed policy change to the CUS Code of Procedure in Article 4.06, Section (C), Subsection (I) which currently states:
“The campaign period shall be no less than seven (7) and no more than ten (10) days in duration.”

As per recommendation from the CUS Elections Committee, the proposed policy change to Article 4.06, Section (C), Subsection (I) is as follows:
“The campaign period shall be no less than six (6) and no more than eight (8) teaching days in
duration.”
A teaching day is defined as a day in which school is in session. This policy change will reduce the necessity of taking into account weekends, and allow focus on the number of teaching days students will actually be able to campaign.
